Dr. Klaudia Schmidt

    Dr. Klaudia Schmidt is the Business Development Director, Consultant and Senior Lecturer at the Bangkok University- The Institute for Knowledge and Innovation South East Asia (IKI-SEA). She teaches and supervises Master of Business Innovation (MBI) students and PhD students in Knowledge Management, Innovation Management, Strategy and International Management (Marketing, Business Development, Operations). She received her Bachelor and Master degrees in Social Sciences from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. In her student years she was working for different Professors as teaching and research assistant at the Humboldt University and also as research assistant at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, an internationally renowned research institute for the social sciences, the largest such institution in Europe not affiliated with a university. Due to her excellent performance she received a scholarship from her former employer, a German Telco MNC, for writing her PhD. She holds a PhD in Knowledge Management (Title “The Human in the background? Optimizing customer relevant processes by Knowledge Management”, Otto von Guericke University, Germany) and an Executive Master in Knowledge Management by Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany. She spent more than ten years in international Management Positions for Corporate Development/Marketing/Business Development and Operations in Europe and Asia in various industries such as Oil & Gas, Healthcare and IT&Telco. In 2012 she received a Diploma in Anti Money Laundering (AML) with Manchester University in Singapore. Her interests in research activities include focusing on Innovation Management, Knowledge Management, HR, Marketing/Sales, Organizational Development, Coaching, Leadership Management and Human Trafficking, Corruption, Organized Crime and connecting these different fields to gain new conclusions.
